The St. Francis Chapter is getting ready for its upcoming Lift For Life on Saturday, April 23rd in Loretto, Pa. And, yes, the Red Flash have added their own unique touch to the 2016 event.

Prior to the Lift For Life that starts at 1 p.m. on the turf at DeGol Field, the St. Francis Chapter will put on a 5K that will start and finish inside the Red Flash stadium. It’s open to runners of all ages and costs only $3 for students-youth and $5 for adults.

You can sign up by visiting the St. Francis Chapter 5K registration page. Immediately after the 5K is complete, the Red Flash will kick off their Lift For Life.

Lift For Life is the signature fundraising event for the Uplifting Athletes nationwide network of college football student-athlete led chapters.

The Red Flash Chapter will continue their mission of using college football as a platform to inspire the rare disease community with hope through the power of sport by holding their fourth Lift For Life as part of Uplifting Athletes.

In order to support the St. Francis Chapter and help the Red Flash reach their $ 5,000 Lift For Life goal, visit the St. Francis Chapter fundraising site.

The St. Francis Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2012 when it joined Uplifting Athletes. The student-athlete led St. Francis Chapter serves the rare disease community in honor of the younger brother of former Red Flash wide receiver Jeff Wasilewski.
